My Nana's old Button box always inspires me. I wanted to make some buttons that had the traditional wire on the reverse like in her box and decided simplicity would be the key i love how simple and stylish these birds have turned out, there also a little homage to buttons of the past.

These Beautiful Handmade Birdy Ceramic Buttons have been hand formed from earthenware Clay and stamped with a heart wing.
The Birds have been glazed in a white to the front, the rear of the button has been left unglazed to allow the beauty and smoothness of the clay to shine through.
To the rear you will find a traditional metal hoop fixing along with the MB makers mark. Each button measures approximately 33mm x 22mm with a depth of 3mm
MatildaBelle buttons are fine popped into the washing machine we do ask though that the garment is turned inside and also popped into a tied pillowcase then washed on a gentle wash.
These buttons are perfect additions to so many projects so unique a lovely finishing touch to your craft project. Also a precious gift to the person who cherishes their button tin.
