I love using the scraps of the beautiful Japanese fabrics to create collages. The denim fabric sets the collage off perfectly.

Full description
This tote bag has been created from washed 7.5oz cotton denim fabric and embellished with a Japanese collage fabric pocket that's been finished with gold thread.
The Japanese collage pocket has been created from left over pieces of fabric from other projects, as they are too beautiful to throw away, and finished with gold stitching to accentuate their beauty.
There is some colour variation in the denim from the washing process, which adds to the character of the bag. The reverse side of the bag is plain.
Inside the bag is another pocket, created from pink cotton fabric, which is completely hiding from the outside.
French seams have been used to finish the bag for a neat and tidy look.
The handles are pink and white stripped webbing and are 40mm wide.
