Wanting to let friends and family know they are being remembered even if we can't see each other in person right now - and wanting to find a way to express "a hug" with a message. This is how my new greetings cards were "born". Necessity is the mother of invention and just as good at hugs!

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Additional terms
All items and creatures in the family of The Porcelain Menagerie are made from high fired stoneware or white porcelain and as such are as fragile as glass. They are vulnerable to being chipped or to break if dropped. Please treat with care when handling as items damaged by being dropped by the buyer will not be considered faulty for refund. Variations in the glaze and patterns on my porcelain hand-made items form part of the unique character of each piece and are intentional. Please note, these gifts are not toys and are therefore unsuitable for small children to play with. All items posted will be safely wrapped and cushioned to protect them on their journey. Thank you for buying from my small business!
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

I am sure you know someone who needs a hug right now, and in the absence of company from friends and family, here's a creative way to send them one!
My handmade greetings card includes one of my handmade porcelain mini folk hearts, which can be detached and hung up afterwards as a reminder of your thoughtfulness and your "hug!"
Dimensions: Heart: 35mm wide x 37mm deep
Materials : porcelain, glaze and coloured cotton cord, coloured card (red background, blue hearts and 1 x green-blue porcelain heart)
This listing is for one porcelain heart on an A6 greetings card with matching envelope. The card is left blank inside for your own wording, Please note the designs on each porcelain heart will vary as they are individual, hand made and decorated and none are exactly the same. Thank you.
Your "hug in an envelope" will be carefully packed and posted 1st class in the UK only.
