Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
I designed it especially to hold the crystal and have used very pretty textured, iridescent glass for the inner ring and pale and streaky turquoises and pinks for the outer to match the sheen and shades of the iridescent glass and enhance the sparkle of the central crystal.
It is 14 cm in diameter and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher.
It can hang in a window or just against a wall and it would make a wonderfully pretty addition to any room.
This would make a lovely present.. It is totally individual and I am really pleased with my design.
I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.
