Full description
These hoop earrings are made from aluminium which I have hand dyed in a random pattern in purple and blue. The dye is sealed in to the metal through heat so that it becomes a permanent part of the surface of the aluminium. I have cut out the strips of aluminium and bent them on a mandrel in to a half hooped shape earring. The hoops are attached to a sterling silver fish hook style ear fitting. The hoops measure approximately 5mm across and from the top of the aluminium hoop to the bottom it measures 21mm.
Please note, due to the random nature of the pattern, the hoops may differ slightly from the ones pictured but they will be the same mix of colours.
