This necklace has been inspired by Welsh lovespoons and features cross, chain and heart symbols. Lovespoons are ornate wooden spoons which a young man would have traditionally carved and given to a woman he loved, the symbols used in lovespoons have different meanings. The cross in this pendant represents faith or a wish for God's blessing, the chain means loyalty and faithfulness and a heart symbolises love.

Full description
The pendant is made from 1mm recycled sterling silver sheet and wire. The cross and the heart are cut from the sheet and the chain is formed from the wire, and once the separate components are made they are soldered together. A small loop is then added to back of the cross to hold the chain. The edges are smoothed using files and emery paper before it's polished and attached to a chain.
