Full description
Beach metal is special because of the effect the beating of the waves and the corrosion of the salt water has on the metal. We love the wonderful curving shapes beach metal often has. The two pieces we've used for this amazing pendant were found separately and are two different metals, but fit beautifully together. We've joined the wire shapes so that they create one swirling shape which appears continuous. We've created a hand-beaten brass jump ring to hang the pendant from a copper chain.
The pendant is 4.5 cm high, 2.5 cm wide and 5 mm thick. It comes on a 50 cm (approx. 20 inches) medium copper trace chain. If you would prefer a different length chain please let us know the length you would like.
Our jewellery is individually hand made in Chudleigh, Devon. We collect our materials ourselves, mainly from local beaches. Each metal object is unique, so each piece of jewellery is unique. The items we use for our metal pendants have been tumbled in sand by the sea, so their edges have been smoothed and rounded.
The pendant will be delivered by first class mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
