Mind the Gap - an excellent gift for the train-lover in your life, or perhaps for someone missing their normal Underground commute.
Hand knitted wool fingerless gloves made using a durable and comfortable 4 ply yarn comprising of 75% wool and 25% polyamide ensuring comfort and strength. Perfect for cooler days, the fingerless design allows you to still get things done without being restricted. The main yarn has been dyed in the colours of each of the main lines on the London Underground, and I have used a contrasting grey yarn for the tops and cuffs. This pair of gloves has been knitted in a traditional method using 4 double pointed needles, allowing for a comfortable finish with no bulky seams.
These mitts measure approximately 10 inches (26cm) long and measure approximately 4.5 inches at their widest point. The gloves would suit a small to medium hand.
Wash and care instructions:
Please hand-wash these gloves in cool water with a gentle soap. Hand knitted items may require gentle re-shaping whilst wet.
