Full description
Fused glass hanging tree suncatcher, inspired by delicate Japanese Spring blossom. A beautiful gift, it looks lovely in a window, giving a splash of colour.
To make this hanging, I hand cut a tree shape from very thin copper foil with a scalpel. I then cut 2 squares of transparent art glass and sandwiched the tree between the layers. Next, I fused it overnight slowly in my kiln. The heat of the kiln turns the copper foil a lovely deep red colour. I then added blue and pink opaque flowery glass dots which I have made previously. A second firing is done overnight the next day to tack fuse the dots onto the design, so that they stand proud of the glass, giving it a 3D effect.
Comes ready to hang on a silver wire.

Item comes securely packaged and wrapped in my signature turquoise tissue paper, sticker and string. A gift message can be included, just contact me to let me know.
