Welcome to our Folksy shop! We are retired, keen hobbyists who have spent years making and creating.
We make a variety of hand made gifts, decorations and ornaments.
As much as possible, we like to use recycled materials and packaging to do our bit for the environment along with re-using whatever materials we can.
Inspiration for this wave were the fresh daisies in our lawn.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Personalised Mother's Day Fused Glass Wave Gift (Daisy Meadow) - Made to Order
This pretty hand made fused glass wave can be made to order as a gift for your mum or your children's mum to help her feel special on Mother's Day.
The wave measures approximately 9cm high x 15cm long and can accommodate up to 5 names or titles, each person can be represented by a fresh spring daisy surrounded by wild flowers in rainbow tones.
Stand it on a window ledge, in a conservatory or on a shelf in front of a light source and allow the light to enrich the vibrant colours and dance across the ripples in the glass.
Each wave is hand made to order and will therefore have it's own little unique quirks making it a very special, one off gift for a special mum.
The wave depicts our new Daisy Meadow design with up to 5 happy daisies surrounded by rainbow flowers, we add green glass for grass, hand paint sprigs of cow parsley which we also fire into the glass. We top the wave off with a little bumble bee hovering above the flowers and give it several firings to achieve the self supporting shape.
Each wave takes approximately 7 days to make from start to finish.
