Butterflies are a tempting subject for the enamel scrollwork that I do. It suggests the fluid patterning of butterfly wings in flight. The shimmer of light reflecting from the piece captures, to some extent, the movement of the wings. I do not attempt realistic representation of any species, just the suggestion of a butterfly.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
I have scrolled white and dark pink enamel over a dark blue base coat to make this delicate butterfly brooch. Depending on the play of light the dark blue shows black to iridescent royal blue. The white and pink are almost fugitive.
The butterfly shape measures 32mm by 18mm at its widest and deepest points. It is mounted on a 20mm brooch bar, which I have soldered to the copper base. The pin fastens with a safety catch.
