Item details

The Groovy Gang was born quite a few years ago and has grown and grown.
My love of dolls, vintage fabric and my wonderful vintage wearing friends have been the inspiration for this collection.
Most of the dolls are based on people I know!

Full description

Poppy is no push over with her flame red hair and her own sense of style.

She’s the one of the Groovy Gang who’s never backward at coming forward, so no messing with this self assured ‘lil lady!

Poppy is handmade by myself, I hand cut all her parts.

She stands approximately 28cms tall.

Her face is hand embroidered on recycled calico.

Her dress is made from original 1940’s vintage fabric, which was an apron in its former life.

Her hair is made from the off cuts of felt let over from making the Gonks.

Her face and legs are made from off cuts from my rag bag.

She is filled with 100% Hi-loft polyester stuffing.

Recycled should be Poppy’s middle name!

Poppy is not suitable for children under the age of 3 years.

I send Royal Mail First Class signed for.
