Full description

This is a lovely and rare example of transferware we found on the beach. It has come from the edge of an old plate or bowl, which is why it is slightly curved as can be seen in the photos. We have tumbled the pendant until it is rounded and smooth. In addition to the pretty flowers the pendant has a faint second pattern from the cracked glaze, which gives the piece a feeling of history and age. This pattern is barely noticeable from any distance.

The pendant is 4 cm high, 3 cm wide and 6 mm thick. It comes on a 50 cm (approx. 20 inches) fine silver plate trace chain. If you would prefer a shorter chain please let us know the length you would like.

Our jewellery is made in Chudleigh, Devon, using materials we collect ourselves from local beaches. Each piece of pottery is unique, so each piece of jewellery is unique. We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.

The pendant will be delivered by first class mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
