The inspiration behind the Bumble Bee design comes from our love of gardening and a wish to further emphasize the important job this fabulous little creature does for our world. Not only is the Bumble Bee in particular a scientific marvel (it is reported that using the basic laws of physics the Bumble Bee should not actually be able to fly - yet it can!), it helps to pollinate millions of plants, crops and flowers that simply would not exist without bees.
So the idea we wanted to achieve was to make a striking, instantly recognizable stylized bee in a variety and colours and metal combinations so that each person can wear the bee that suits them perfectly.

Handmade in our Yorkshire studio, these beautiful Bumble Bee stud earrings have a dimpled textured Brass body, with textured Silver wings. Although this "Mini Bee" is more subtle in stature than our other bees, it makes up for it's smaller size with down-right cuteness and is a gorgeous little addition to our existing Bumble Bee Range. They have Sterling Silver posts soldered on to the back and come with Sterling Silver Butterfly backs. The Bees are created completely by hand and the textures are hand hammered so each Bee is slightly unique.
Also available is a beautiful matching pendant - as seen in the final photo.

Each stud is approx. 13mm long (top to bottom), and 15mm wide (wing tip to wing tip)
