The black material we've used for these earrings came from a special beach. We believe it's clinker from a furnace which was once on the beach. The furnace heated a cauldron in which fishermen heated their nets in water with birch bark in it to protect them against the sea. The pieces of clinker are perfectly rounded and beautifully matched. We've added red glass beads to give a dramatic colour contrast, making these unusual and eye-catching earrings. The ear wires are sterling silver.
The earrings are 3 cm high, 1.7 cm wide and 1.5 cm deep.
We can often make similar or matching items such as pendants and bracelets, so please contact us by email if you are interested in what we can offer.
Our jewellery is made in Chudleigh, Devon, using materials we collect ourselves from local beaches. Each piece of clinker is unique, so each piece of jewellery is unique.
The earrings will be delivered by first class mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
