In my book no dresser is complete without bunting and the obligatory set of fairy lights!
In my own kitchen I love changing the look of my shelves with different coloured bunting for different seasons. I love my pastel shades for Spring and Summer, but for winter I think nothing beats reds and greens - I have deliberately chosen non-festive fabrics so that whilst this string would look great at Christmas it can stay up for many more months and it co-ordinates beautifully with my red and white china.

At just under 1 metre in length, this small bunting is absolutely perfect for decorating a dresser or shelf. Although it would look great at Christmas, the fabrics I've chosen are not specifically Christmassy, so would look equally cheery at any time of year. Stitched from a selection of red, cream and green florals, polka dots and gingham fabrics the flags are sewn onto red and cream gingham ribbon for a vintage feel.
Each flag measures approx. 10cm wide and 11cm from top to tip and the string measures approximately 85cm in length with additional ties at each end.
I have added a photo of my dresser bedecked with a similar style of bunting to give you an idea of scale.
