Seeing these wonderful birds at a wildlife sanctuary, falling in love with them and realising why so many people at shows ask for cards featuring Owls, their favourite birds. I decided to design this card and another one to celebrate Christmas.

Full description
The Owl is a subject I have been meaning to cover for ages in my Wildlife Collection of cards. A large Barn Owl is perched on a tree trunk, another is about to take flight and the little owl sits way up in the trees! At Twilight is a chance to see these extraodinary birds in the wild. We often hear the call of the owl at night and the rustle of other noctural creatures around, like the badger and hedgehog and may see silhouettes of bats and nighthawks in the sky. All these animals are hand-painted, as is most of the shrubbery and trees, other images are from photos, and this mix of media creates this unique imaginery scene in Photoshop.

Printed on quality card 300gsm with a satin finish. Supplied with a buff envelope.
