Full description
The beach glass we use for our mosaic wall hangers comes from old bottles, so the pieces are often slightly curved, which gives the piece a three dimensional effect. The olive glass has various shades, and goes beautifully with the striped glass heart in the centre. We have tumbled the glass so it is rounded and smooth. The back of the hanger is white painted plywood.
The hanger is 8 cm high, 7.5 cm wide and 6 mm thick. It comes on a 7 cm cotton cord. If you would prefer a longer cord please let us know the length you would like.
Our mosaic wall hangers are made in Chudleigh, Devon, using materials we collect ourselves from local beaches. Each piece of glass is unique, so each wall hanger is unique. Because our raw materials have spent time on the seashore our products may have small imperfections, which we think is part of their charm. We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.
The wall hanger will be delivered by first class mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
