Hello and welcome to DArTworld, my world of colour, reality and imagination in cards and prints. The subjects vary from the ancient and classical world right up to date but the thing that they have in common is the use of vibrant colour and the visual twist that I like to give my images. I hope you will love them.

My fascination with image experimentation encourages me to try all sorts of processes to see what may result and I love the colours and slightly haunting aspect of this portrait.

Full description
This A5 size print started out as one of my original photographs of an ancient Greek statue known as the Antikythera Youth.
I have applied various digital processes to create this abstract image where the blocks of colour are fragmenting, creating a portrait that has a unique fascination and is both modern but also suggests the rigours of an ancient past and the damage and disintegration that affect these statues.
The image is printed on premium 300gsm paper with a matte finish. A5 page size is 210 x 148 mm (8 1/4 x 5 7/8 ins). There is a 12 mm (approx) border.
