I love the waffle stitch, I have used it for blankets and scarves before and it makes a dense, warm stitch. It's a really comfy accessory.

I have crocheted this cowl using Caron simply soft ombre in grape purple.
It is 100% acrylic ( no wool) so suitable for anyone avoiding wool or animal fibres.
It is crocheted using the waffle stitch which creates a dense, warm cowl.
It is stitched together in its shape, so you have to slip it over your head to wear it.
It can be machine washed on a low heat according to the instructions but I have only ever hand washed my cowls.
This yarn is variegated and so the colour is self striping from a light to dark purple.
It measures approx 14.5 inches from top to bottom and approx 11 inches across
Please note the colours may appear different in real life depending on the calibration of your viewing device.
It will be sent second class delivery in a small parcel box and wrapped in tissue paper.
