Hello and welcome or better still welcome back to my little shop.
I hope you'll find that special thing here in the shop as I make everything by hand, welcoming the differences that these techniques bring.

Full description
These little wrens have a light grey overall colour but with a delicate crackle glaze wrapping around them. The crackles are highlighted with a darker tint and form a lovely subtle pattern over the carved bird. These have warm brown flashings on the wings where the iron has come through in the firing. If it is all in the detail then these birds do have it all, as there are also tiny almost iridescent spots over their body from the flecks of iron in the clay.
Two tiny pinch pots, joined together, wings and tail cut to shape and added. Press the beak on at a jaunty wren style angle. Then carve to hint at plumage and feather shape.
Roughly 4cm high and 6 cm long.
Handmade in small numbers, not much measuring happening, I go with the flow on each one, so they are all different.
Ideal gift for anyone who loves birds and nature.
I try to recycle and reuse packaging but not at the expense of safe travel.
