All jewellery listed here that says silver is sterling silver, I do not use silver plate at all. There will be elements of sterling silver in every design (except keyrings), some will be completely so, others may have combinations of copper, brass, bronze, glass, enamel, pewter, resin, upcycled biscuit tins and pre-decimal coins and/or semi-precious stones as well. Many of the designs are one-of-a-kind.

A cat cut from pewter sheet that I've etched. I've painted in a red heart with glass paint. 6.5 cms tall, it is suitable for a coat or jacket lapel. Sterling silver brooch fastener to finish off.
Despatched in a presentation box via the Royal Mail Signed For service in the UK. Care guide included.
Handcrafted in Lancashire
Using pewter enables me to etch in a metal that can look as shiny as silver but because it is not such an expensive material, I can experiment more and sometimes do designs on a larger scale. If this was made in sterling silver, it would need to be hallmarked due to the weight/size and would cost probably twice as much.
In case you are wary, the pewter that you find today including the metal I use, does NOT contain lead and therefore is a shiny silver colour. It is made up of tin, copper and antimony and unlike silver and other metals, pewter does not tarnish so easily. It is definitely nickel-free too.
