Sometimes things don't turn out quite how you wanted them to. In this case I somehow managed to offset the sides a little when sewing them together so the zip is slightly twisted.
It's still a completely functional and very pretty storage bag, created from some of the treasures that have found their way into my scrap box over the years and trimmed with cream lace and a selection of coordinating buttons. Lightly padded with fleece interfacing and lined with a pink/white polka dot print, it's big enough to take a 7 inch Kindle or a good selection of make up and, because it's not quite perfect, I've reduced the price from £10.00 to £7.50.
Dimensions (approximate): 19.5 cm wide by 21.5 cm high with a 14.5 cm opening
Cool hand wash and medium iron (avoiding zip and trims) recommended.
