Full description
This is the Female Woodcarving Leafcutter Bee and was made for FIFTY BEES 4 which was shown at Black Swan in From during the early part of 2020.
She’s a biggun and she’s got masses of antique gold leaf for pollen and lovely vintage Japanese silver thread for wings. She built into a very beautifully marquetry wooden box - the perfect home for her.
