I have always liked quirky wooden objects. Empowered with a new tool for the workshop I set about making a range of wooden jewellery boxes which are certainly distintive. This was the first of a numebr of jewellery boxes covering a whole range of different shapes and styles, only limited by my imagination.

Full description
This distinctive tree jewellery box was made as a prototype for a range of jewellery boxes. The box is sound and functional in every way, however the gap between draws and frame is slightly larger than desired.
The tree design has six draws each lined in a soft, cardinal red coloured flocking. The box is made from pine wood and coated in satin varnish.
