I have never known a wind like it! Taking shelter behind a boat moored up on the beach was the only way I could just about hold the camera steady - especially as I had to put the long lens on to enable me to keep a distance away from the ferocious, pounding waves. It was at once scary and exhilarating!

Full description
A beautiful photograph taken during Storm Brian which hit the Jurassic Coast on Saturday, 21st October 2017. This image was taken at the famous Cobb, the wall protecting the harbour at Lyme Regis in Dorset. The Cobb featured in the film 'The French Lieutenant's Woman' starring Meryl Streep.
It will be printed on Fuji DPII Lustre paper. Fuji Crystal Archive Professional Lustre features a very natural photographic finish reminiscent of traditional photographic printing. Coated with a slightly stippled texture Lustre prints are very resistant to fingerprints, scratches and scuffs and feature a semi-matt finish with minimal glare.
The size refers to the paper size. There will be a small white border (approx 1 inch) all around the image to allow for mounting and the inclusion of an edition number and photographer's signature if requested. Therefore the image size will be slightly smaller.
Please note that the prints come unmounted and unframed. Also due to differences in monitor and screens calibration, the colour you are seeing may not be totally accurate. One should also be aware that the larger the print size, the 'softer' the image. However this should not be a problem when viewed at the greater distance normal for the size of print.
