The heart shape is an ideograph used to express the idea of the "heart" in its metaphorical or symbolic sense as the centre of emotion, including affection and love, especially romantic love.
It is believed that the Elm Tree represents intuition and inner strength.

Full description
This rare wooden heart pendant necklace with crystals is a one of a kind piece of jewellery. It has been handmade from a section of Spalted Wood, which ensures that the pattern cannot be recreated exactly. It has been upcycled from reclaimed wood. A perfect present for an anniversary, Valentine, birthday, wedding, engagement, or for Easter.
The approximate length of the pendant is 4 cm, the approximate width at its widest point is 4 cm and the approximate depth is 0.5 cm.
Please choose from the drop down boxes for your choice of length of chain or leather cord. The chain is attached with a silver plated jump ring and a Lobster Clasp whilst the leather cord has adjustable slip knots.
The pendant is packaged in a cardboard jewellery box.
All items to the UK mainland are shipped 1st Class Royal Mail.

I am a firm believer in upcycling using reclaimed wood whenever possible. I often recycle the packaging I send out my items in.
This heart pendant was cut and shaped from a piece of wood before being sanded to a smooth finish. The crystals were then attached with glue. It is smooth to the touch and has been finished with several coats of Lacquer to enhance the grain whilst also protecting the pendant.
