This picture took approximately 10 hours to make!
This was just a little bit of colourful fun. A great Summer picture, and sitting on a coffee table or window sill it will cheer you up during the Winter months.
This picture has been made with extreme enthusiasm. It is almost a frenzy of colour and organised chaos. I endeavoured to squeeze in as many flowers as I could without making it too busy. I have used a variety of different glass types and techniques: glass sheet, glass stringers, frit, dichroic glass and enamelling.
The base is teak stained pine. Sanded three times and carefully varnished. The base does have some natural knots which gives it character.
Was fun to make!!!
Base measures: 32cm x 6.8cm x 2cm.
The glass picture measures: 31cm x 15cm x 6mm thickness.
