For these earrings I have combined beautiful original true vintage crystal beads with sterling silver hand made components.
The crystal beads have a lovely sheen and the finish beautifully reflects the light with a rainbow of any surrounding colours. As the crystal beads are true vintage, around 70 years old, they will have the odd imperfection or small sign of wear. This is part of their charm and helps make this a unique item.
I have created attractive sterling silver components by making small hoops and soldering them together then giving them a hammered finish. The vintage crystal beads are hung from these in a nod to18th century jewellery styles.
The earring loops are also handmade from sterling silver.
The chandelier drops measure approximately 3.5 cm long and 2.3 cm wide. The larger of the faceted crystal beads measure approximately 7.9 mm.
These earrings are supplied gift packaged.
