The red poppy is such a beautiful flower. I love to see fields full of them when we drive through the countryside in mid summer.

This is one of my favourite designs - a poppy - a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
I had two of these for sale at the time of listings. Both from the same types of glass but differently arranged.
The listing is for one of them.
A gorgeous flower made from 3 different types of red glass, to give the flower movement.
I've used a super little flowery bead for the middle and the centre of the poppy is decorated with wire stamens.
This would make a beautiful present for anyone as it is in such vibrant shades of reds. It looks really lovely hanging in the window where it shines and catches the light all year round.
The poppy is 5 inches high and 4 inches wide.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
My suncatchers make super presents and are also really good when hanging in french or conservatory windows to stop the birds flying into the glass.
