Full description
An art doll inspired by Americana, Cape Cod style Folk Art,
Doll made in textiles hand painted, spritzed and dyed ,
built onto a vintage spool wrapped in blue yarn.
Red, white and blue clothing, holding a glittering, gold wand ,
she is pulling a textile painted whale on spool 'wheels' (not moveable)
Decorated with vintage fabric, mother of pearl buttons and pearls.
Wool top hair in blue and grey.
the doll measures aprox 18 inches high the whale 12 inches long.
When creating one of a kind textile art dolls I use vintage and antique materials and ephemera.
I love torn, worn textiles and materials and often paint and grunge pieces to make a more primitive , folk art style.
They are made in a naive style and no two pieces are alike.
For the rest of the year, due to the current covid situation I am only shipping to the UK and cannot accept refunds.
