I never throw away all my little pieces of fabric. Stitched together they can make a beautiful and one-of-a-kind item.

This bag is not a second but has been in my shop a while and I feel a reduced price is in order.
I pieced together lots of offcuts of medium weight cotton fabrics to make this bag, it was lengthy work but the result is very pretty! I then machine quilted it with diagonal rows onto a layer of woollen fabric to give the bag some body and maintain its shape. The top is faced inside with a Sanderson print, and then the lower half is lined with a modern floral quilting cotton.
There is a slip pocket inside and I stitched a ring into one of the inside seams which can be used to attach keys etc.
To fasten the bag there is a loop around a button covered with vintage embroidery. Bag measures 37cm across the top and 24cm high. The base has been boxed so that it stands on it's own and the base is 11cm deep. The loop of each handle measures 38cm and they have been topstitched.
This item is ready to ship. I use second class post in order to keep postage as low as possible and will usually post same or next day as your order. Your item will be wrapped in new tissue paper whilst I will use recycled outer packaging if possible.
