The stone at the centre of the pendant is part of a chain that I purchased at a market in Europe. All the stones on the chain have or will be re-purpposed to create one of a kind pieces. The stones are in their raw form and have not been artifically shaped or polish; which offers a different feel to the pendants and allows for a more imaginative wrapping around them.
Each stone is unique and therefore can not be turned into a mass produced item.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
The amethyst stone has been used since Egyptian times as a gemstone in jewellery.
The raw stone which has been wire wrapped in tarnish resistant copper wire, creates a one of a kind pendant.
As a wearable art piece; it sits really nicely on the handmade chain, which compliments the piece.
The Greeks believed amethyst gems could prevent intoxication; whilst in medieval Europe soldiers wore amethyst amulets as protection in battle in the belief that amethysts heal people and keep them cool-headed.
When you wear my handmade pendant you feel unique and special; as nobody else will have one like it.
The raw stone is recycled from an old chain; so not onlyyou have a unique piece of art; but you will also have a stone that has been handed down from generation to generation.
