During my recent travels to Barcelona, Spain; I had the chance to visit Sagrada Familia (the temple that Gaudi envisaged for the city); the Park Guell - where Gaudi again created some amazing designs. I was inspired by the beautiful colours; shapes and the magic the mosaics created when touched by the light. I wanted re-create that theme and capture it in the form of jewellery; re-using the glass shards that were shaped by the sea. Each sea glass shard was hand picked by myself on the shores in Barcelona; hand painted and oven fired.
Gaudi used shards of tiles to crate some of his iconic mosaics; which now adorn some of the buildings in Barcelona; or can be seen in the Park.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Another unique pendant in the Gaudi style series.
This time the seaglass is triangular in shape painted in multi colour motifs.
The wire wrapping follows the elegant shape of the glass to create another unique item.
The style of the painting imitates stained glass; which ecomes translucent in light.
The pendant is dainty and yet a reasonable size; and will set your day time or evening attire out from the crowd.
The glass is unique; shaped by the sea, the provenance of the glass is unknown; which makes this item truely one of a kind.
As always my pendant will come with a 24" silver plated chain; and in a handy organza bag for storage.
