The Japanese fabrics I have been using to create my masks have encouraged me to explore Japanese culture and accessories. The colours used in this bag remind me of Australia.

This elegant rice bag has been created from quality cream and gold cotton fabric and a complimentary moss spotty dots fabric, which is also cotton.
The rice bag, or komebukuro, is a drawstring bag that was traditionally made of scrap fabric to carry rice or other offerings to Japanese temples or shrines.
It measures approximately 12cm (4 1/2 inches) in height, width and depth. A complimentary gold and black ribbon has been used to create the tabs to hold the gold ribbon to tie the bag. Fabric tabs have used to finish the ribbon ends.
The bag would make a lovely gift bag for someone special, and holds a lot given its size, as can be seen in the photos.
Please note that the accessories are for photographic props only and do not come with the bag, but can be used as gift ideas.
