A beautiful large statement brooch that I am absolutely in love with!
I used the same mold as my Kitsch frame brooches, and filled the inside with a magical twinkly glitter blend, in a layer that twinkles in the light, as if a magical portal! This has been sealed to avoid glitter loss.
I have added iridescent glitter in the heart accents, coloured resins in some of the cavities, and acrylic paint in others.
I cast the frame in a black pigmented and glittered resin, and have used gold gilding paint for detail.
Lightweight, this brooch has a single pin fastening, with a safety catch, attached to the reverse.
The purple, black and green are reminiscent of the fabulous Disney version of Maleficent, and the Wicked Queen.
