These pendants are born of my love of sea smoothed pebbles and sea glass. I make them in 'limited edition' series, seldom repeating a colour combination, and each individual pendant in a series is different from the next so you really are getting a unique piece.
I create the pendants by fusing together many layers of glass in my kiln to create a slab of glass; then break this slab up into chunks and fire these again in the kiln, sometimes once, sometimes a few times, to create a series of glass pebbles. Each kiln firing takes up to 24 hours, so you can see the amount of time and work that goes into each piece.
Once I'm happy with the design of each piece I sandblast the glass and fire it one final time in my kiln to give it the lovely tactile smooth satin finish before adding the silver plated bail.

Each handmade fused glass pendant in the Summer Seas series is one of a kind in a limited edition series; a truly unique piece.
This triangular pendant is created from glass in a mix of bright turquoise blues and soft aqua. The surface of the fused glass has a tactile sandblasted finish; the pendant has a chunky silver plated bail and comes complete with a silver plated chain and gift box.
Transforming pieces of sheet glass into this beautiful smooth pebble style pendant takes 3 or more firings in my kiln – working with glass is not for the impatient!

DIMENSIONS:
The pendant is 3cm (1.25") wide at the widest point, and 4.5cm (1.75") long including the silver plated bail.
The silver plated snake chain is 40cm (16") long with a 5cm (2") extension so you can wear it at a length which suits you.
