We like this location and often visited here and Weymouth as it had such a good dog beach. This is a lovely part of the world.

Full description
This is an original watercolour and pen painting of the Trinity Lighthouse on the southern tip of the Island of Portland in Dorset. We have been here many times and have experienced, gales, rain and, on this occasion, a heatwave. The tide was fairly high and there was a light swell with the odd spray of water that was really rather pleasant. I drew the line at going for a swim though. We did have a scone at the nearby café, and it was very delicious.
My scanner hasn't quite picked up the depth of tone here or the yellow highlights in the sea and sky. Maybe its just my screen, but please be aware that screens do differ.
This painting is 8.25 x 5.8 inches (210 x 148 cms) and would probably fit comfortably in a standard 8x10 frame with a 6x8 mount.
The image is unmounted and will be posted out using first class signed for post in a carded envelope and waterproof bag. It is signed by me and dated.
