I have started working with feathers recently and while considering the designs appropriate to them I remembered the tradition of divination by observation of birds. That reminded me of the Rune sets I used to make out of beach stones.
This set of Runes on feathers is the combination of those two traditions.

Full description
A set of Elder Futhark Runes painted on pigeon feathers. The feathers have been painted "dark silver" on the face, bright silver on the obverse, and the Runes are gold-leaf applied to gold paint. The feathers were collected from my garden and the surrounding fields.
