I wanted to be able to create something with the little bits and bobs left over from my knitting and I also wanted to try out felting. I love experimenting with new techniques and I also enjoy coming up with new colour combinations for creating interesting pieces of jewellery.

This statement necklace has been created using by needle felting pink and white wool into a marble effect star shaped pebble strung on black 0.5mm hemp cord.
The pebble is approximately 30mm x 35mm and is really lightweight, ideal for anyone with neck issues.
The necklace is approximately 35cm at its longest (from top of string to bottom of pebble) and can be as small as you want it. This means the necklace can be worn long or short as a choker. Please measure the largest part of your head to make sure 64cm will be big enough to pull the necklace over.
The necklace has slip knots to allow for varying length options and easy application and removal.
This necklace was created as a sample in order to try out new techniques.
