My favourite beaches!!
During the 2020 lockdown one of the things I missed most (apart from family, friends, and the pub) was the beautiful beaches of Northumberland. I've had this project in my head for a while, and though ideally would have been out and about this year with my sketchbook the coronavirus lockdown gave me the kick up the backside (and time) to get on with it! From sketches I drew from pictures in my phone, I made the original lino prints (where you print one colour layer then cut into the lino again - and repeat - until the print is finished). As I only used very basic materials and paper in lockdown these are high quality digital prints of the originals
