I love birds and I love embroidery and much of my work features these two things! I'm also passionate about helping people unlock their creativity and I hope this kit will offer an opportunity for more people to discover a love of embroidery.

Everything you need to create your own beautiful little goldfinch! This kit is beginner friendly and includes instructions and a stitch guide as well as the materials and tools you'll need, all you'll need to provide is a pair of scissors and an iron (this isn't essential, but it helps!)
Hand embroidery is such a satisfying craft; quick to learn and very relaxing. This kit will help you get started on your embroidery adventure or if you're more experienced will provide a relaxing stitching opportunity. Using just a few stitches you can create a beautiful, characterful embroidery. The finished bird is around 11 x 8 cm.
The kit comes with my goldfinch design already printed onto organic cotton calico which has a lovely natural creamy colour and a few little specks that add a bit of texture and interest. You start your kit using the fabric markers to give you a lovely colourful base to work over. Also included are several colours of stranded cotton, more than enough to complete the project and have some spare for your next piece! I've also included a 13 cm embroidery hoop, a needle, a bead for the eye, instructions, stitch guide and baking parchment (for ironing!)
The kit comes in a fully recyclable cardboard box and will be posted out to you ready for you to get stitching!
