Abalone is an organic gemstone coming from the shell of sea-creatures, it has been used in jewellery making and religious ceremonies for countless years. The shell is normally found in South America, Japan, Australia and China.
Abalone is believed to benefit the heart and help digestion. It strengthens muscular tissue, especially the heart and is also a strong anti-carcinogenic.

Full description
This is a heart shaped piece of abalone. The heart measures approximately 15mm in length and is hung on an 18" silver plated chain that fastens with a lobster claw clasp.
The abalone is double sided so looks pretty from both sides and is adhered to black mother of pearl.
The necklace will arrive in a pretty handmade pillow shaped box.
