The very first item I sold at my first craft fayre was a string of bunting and several years on I still love the fact that such a simple concept can brighten and transform even the smallest of spaces. I hate to throw any fabric away so am always looking for new ways to use up oddments and trialled this style of floral bunting last year. Armed with the bunting and a camera, I strung it between two trees in a field to take a photograph and a little girl who was walking past with her family said 'oh look, fairy flowers'! I thought this was such a lovely thing to say that I decided there and then to add it to my 'makes'.

Reduced! Bring some fluttery cheer to an indoor or outdoor space with this fabric daisy bunting. Eight double-sided flowers created from leftover wedding dress fabric - the gold centres started life as a tablecloth gifted to me many years ago and I never quite knew what to do with it! The flowers are strung on white ribbon and come packed in their own fabric storage bag with a co-ordinating flower motif on the front - even the storage bag has been made from leftover vintage sheeting so nothing has gone to waste!
These look beautiful teamed with solar lights in the garden or used to decorate an outdoor wedding, but would also bring a touch of floral charm to a nursery or playroom. I must however emphasise that this is not a toy.
Measurements: each flower measures approx. 16 cm in diameter. The whole string measures approx. 160 cm with additional 50cm ties at each end. If you wanted a longer string then simply get in touch.
Although the bunting can be used outside it may fade if left out all summer long. It will happily survive a little light rain but if a downpour is forecast it might be best to take it inside as I can't guarantee 100% that the colours may not run.
Each string of bunting has been made from leftover fabrics so each one is slightly different depending on the materials I have at the time.
