Full description
This bag was created to celebrate wonderful colour.
The front is a really fun orange and cream hoop linen fabric, which I have overlaid with 4 ribbon pencils and 3 ribbon paintbrushes.
The pencils - Each pencil consists of a 4cm wide plain satin ribbon and then a thinner spotty ribbon, a cream chenille top with sparkly bead lead, and zig-zag stitching.
The Paintbrushes - Each paintbrush consists of a 4cm wide satin ribbon which is then overlaid with a stripy opaque ribbon with a silver velvet collar and a brown corduroy brush and matching velvet blobby paint. (the blue paintbrush also has an extra velvet paint splat)
The front panel is piped in a purple corduroy
The back is a woven burnt Orange chenille fabric that has purple, green, yellow and orange zig-zag swirly stitching and padded velvet paint splats in pink, blue and red.
This panel is piped in yellow textured fabric.
The sides are made from a corduroy fabric with a red velvet padded paint splat with zig-zag stitching.
Two pink leather straps attach the metal rings to the adjustable rainbow coloured strap (made from corduroy and woven ribbon).
The aquamarine zip fastens the bag when open reveals inside an aquamarine quilted satin lining with a rainbow ribbon inside pocket with makers label
