Avebury is a Neolithic henge monument containing three stone circles, around the village of Avebury in Wiltshire, in southwest England. One of the best known prehistoric sites in Britain, it contains the largest megalithic stone circle in the world.
On September 28th 2015 there was a total lunar eclipse which caused the moon to appear red. This coincided with a supermoon when the moon was at its closes point in its orbit round the earth and therefore appears larger than usual. It is quite rare for these two astronomical phenomena to occur at the same time and I thought that Avebury would be the perfect location to witness them.
The card is blank inside so would be perfect for any occasion.
It measures 15cm (6 inches) square and comes with a white envelope. The card is individually packed in a clear, self-seal polybag. Printed on 300gms laminated card and bearing the FSC logo on the back, this card is high quality and sure to please.
Please note that due to differences in viewing devices and screens, the colours may not appear on your monitor as they do in real life. Unfortunately nothing can be done about this.
