The bright fair isle yoke of the cardigan against the dark grey attracted me to knit this cardigan in the colours illustrated on the pattern. It was a bit of a challenge as the yarn has been discontinued ( a shame because it is gorgeous) and I had to source different shops. Well worth it though as the finished cardigan lives up to the pattern name of sunshine yellow.

Full description
This cardigan is hand knitted in a lovely, soft wool and cotton yarn. The main body is a dark grey and the fair isle yoke is cream and golden yellow. It fastens at the top with three yellow flower shaped buttons to match.
The cardigan would look equally nice with a dress or with trousers for a more informal outfit.
Please note that the buttons are firmly sewn on but care should be taken to ensure they remain secure.
