Elegant Art Deco style brooch pin featuring a smartly dressed woman walking a pair of sleek dogs, possibly salukis or wolfhounds.
This is a replica of an original 1920's bakelite brooch, I made these initially in the 1980's for a chain of museum stores and am now offering it in hand cast fine English pewter.
This is a well made substantial piece suitable for wearing on a jacket or coat.
The brooch measures 5.5 centimetres from the top of the ladies head to the base and 5.5 cm from the tip of the dogs nose to the end of the tail, the base measures 4.5 cm.
Brooches make fabulous presents........If you know that someone likes jewellery, but you don't know if they have pierced ears or you don't want to guess a finger size, then a brooch really fits the bill. Sometimes people may have allergies and can not wear anything made of metal next to their skin, but a lovely brooch that can be worn on a jacket sweater or a scarf is a lovely personal gift that solves that problem.
