Full description

Pewter cockerel brooch. A proud and stately gentleman this, he is cock of the roost and wears a crown to prove it! He struts along puffing out his lovely swirly patterned chest.

I made this pin as a partner to my hen brooch, we keep a few hens in the garden and they are all characters! This one is based on Colin the cockerel,a feisty bantam...............small in stature bit big on personality, somewhat of a Houdini, he was always escaping in to my neighbours garden................he preferred eating her plants to ours!

Handmade and designed by me in our home workshop in the English countryside he can be mad in a bright and shiny silver finish or oxidised with just the highlights polished.

Brooch backs are secure being firmly soldered in place and not glued on.

Brooches make fabulous Christmas presents........If you know that someone likes jewellery, but you don't know if they have pierced ears or you don't want to guess a finger size, then a brooch really fits the bill. Sometimes people may have allergies and can not wear anything made of metal next to their skin, but a lovely brooch that can be worn on a jacket sweater or a scarf is a lovely personal gift that solves that problem.
