So excited to be selected to exhibit in York Open Studios for the 5th year running. I will be located at Fullford School, so if you want to meet in person the dates are 5-6 and 12-13 April 2025
When we go on walks in the spring and summer, we find dandelions peaking out of the hedgerows and on the sides of the path. Or turn a corner, and you find great swathes of them covering the fields. Dandelions are one of my favourite flowers, and I remember using the seed heads to tell the time when I was a child. I can't resist taking a photo each time we go on a walk now, and that memory always comes back to me. This design is based on a walk in the evening with a light breeze pulling the seeds away, and little butterflies, or moths depending on your preference, flitting in and out of the globe like seed heads.

Available in Bright Lime Green or Grey ink on 220 gsm smooth paper

Each design is created using hand carved plate of traditional lino, carved with specialist tools and printed with a hand wound press. Every print is unique and completely individual due to its handmade nature. It's always so satisfying peeling back to paper to reveal to final print.
